This is my mom with her cousin Alana and her husband, Larry. We had a wonderful time talking with them.

My first time at the ocean....We were in Sequim for my Great-Grandma Izzy's funeral.

This quilt was made for me by Aunt Candie. Her husband, Steve, recently died of ALS. She made this blanket while taking care of him. This blanket will always stay at my Grandpa's house when I visit. What a special gift of love this is! And what a truly beautiful quilt!

This is my mom and dad celebrating their 5 year anniversary at Snoqualmie Falls (Good choice, Dad!) Aunt Katie and Uncle Steven took care of me, and did a darn good job, too!

This is me with my Ong Noi. Even though I'm Grandkid #9, I'm the first to carry on the Dang family name.

Here's Tony, our fantastic Sushi chef...who also happens to be Vietnamese, like me!

My Aunt Katie and Uncle Steven took us out to the most wonderful Sushi experience my parents had ever had. Everything was just fabulous. What a special night to remember!

Proof positive that my Wonderful Uncle Ben really did eat chicken feet.

Grandpa is trying to teach me a song about a thirsty mouse and explain the Fibonacci series.

This is my Grandpa holding me with a bunch of his Navy buddies, Mike, Bill, Sarge, and Woody, along with Mom and Dad and Aunt Katie.

I sort of fit in with a bunch of pilots, don't I?

My Grandpa shows me one of the planes at the party.

This is my Aunt Katie, my Thea (Aunt) Connie, my Grandpa Marty, my Mom, and my Theo (Uncle) Gus. We were celebrating my Grandpa's retirement from Western/Delta Airlines. What a great party!

This is my first basketball game. We watched my Dad's cousin play for the Interlake Saints. We won!

This is me on my first boat ride with my Aunt Katie. I'm on a ferry to meet my Great-Grandma Izzy in Sequim, WA.

My great-grandma had Alzheimer's which prevented her from recognizing her family, but she did seem to connect that Katie and my mom were related to her, and that I was, somehow, too. She sang to me and was very happy to see a baby. We are so thankful that God allowed me to meet her in literally her last pain-free and peaceful hour on this Earth.

This is me visiting my Great-Grandma Izzy. We visited her on Thursday, January 13. About an hour into our visit, she started to have some abdominal pain which ended up being appendicitis. She passed away only 2 days later.

Mom and I crash after a day of watching football.

This is my Aunt Katie, my fellow Seahawks fan. She came over to watch the first, and unfortunately, only, Seahawks playoff game this season.

Quite disappointed in today's loss.

This blog stuff is for people who have waaay too much free time - but since i'm retired, I'll just go ahead and brag about my grandson, the rest of you, turn that thing off and get back to work!!!

Caleb - my first grandson, just let me know when your parents are putting the squeez on you, like making you go to bed, or make you eat that bland food they think is so great. If they think it's so yummy, why don't you see them feeding it to their friends, or their dog. If life around home get's to boring, let me know and you can spend a few days at grandpa's, we'll do some really fun things and eat some great food too.

A kiss for Daddy before he goes back to North Carolina.
Here I am watching my first Seahawks game. Yes, I'm only 6 weeks old, but I've got a Hawks onesie, bib, and socks. I'm SUCH a fan. And maybe a good luck charm...we won!

We took the bus to the game. Good thing Dad has me all snug tight and warm.

On our way to the Seahawks game, we pass by one of the more well known Seattle sights, the Pike Place Market.

These are my two grandpas. Boy, I've got some great genes to work from!

This is my Dad giving a little speech about how glad he is for everyone coming to meet me at the Day Thang party.
Here is me with my cousins and aunties at my Day Thang party.

This is me and my dear Aunt Loan.
This is my Ba Noi (Grandma) and Auntie Ninh.

This is a cake for my Day Thang party. The Vietnamese celebrate the first month birthday as one of the most important life events. However, since I didn't make it out to Seattle until I was 6 weeks old, we did it for the 2nd month.
