I love the names that the kids call each other as they are learning to talk:
Caleb called Colton "Bah" and then "Colty". He called himself "Kay-Bah"
Colton called Caleb "Be-Bah" and Matthew "Mah-Mu" and Kristina is "Kra-Kra-Nina". He calls himself "Tol-Ton"
Matthew calls Caleb "Jaba" (as in the Hut'), Colton is "Ja-Ja", and he calls Kristina "Be-be Cheen-uh". He calls himself "Mat-ue" but tells me all the time he prefers "Mah".

Family Photos

We had Sandi Heinrich take our photos last month and I'm finally getting around to posting some...I loved how they turned out.

Kristina's Dedication
Kristina was dedicated today...we had a nice little reception afterward with both sets of Grandparents. We pray that she will grow up to be a Woman of God and live to love and serve Him.
Okay, I had a bit of fun playing dress up with her to try to find an outfit. And forgot to take a photo of the cake before we cut into it.

Things I did today...
I have been fighting an annoying bronchitis thing so I went to get an antibiotic rx from my doc...and while I was at it, and had a babysitter at the house...I went to Bellevue Square...and thought of all the things I got to do since I didn't have any kids.
1. Ate lunch and had a full, uninterrupted conversation on the phone with my Dad.
2. Went to the bathroom unaccompanied by a stroller and three kids.
3. Read a book and a magazine.
4. Went up the stairs at the mall. No elevators!
5. Went down the stairs.
6. Strolled in Pottery Barn near the breakable stuff.
7. Didn't share my chocolate chip cookie.
8. Got a hand massage in Aveda.
9. Sat for a blissful 15 minutes in the Brookstone massage lounger...heaven!
10. Got into my car without opening up the sliding doors on the minivan.
