On July 30, 2006, a two month old baby is found by a guard at the Tam Binh 2 orphanage in Saigon. There he is given the name,"Vu Minh Nhat".
We will always honor the sacrifice and gift that a very special woman made that day in wanting for her baby a better future that she knew that she could not offer.
And Matthew is one more step closer to his journey to his forever family.

Mike's Home Study Interview
July 10...Mike's Homestudy Interview...all went well...now just waiting for "joint interview" at our house, with Caleb, too!
We're starting to prep big brother for his questions, for example, "How do you feel about having a brother?" Response: "A brother would be a fine asset to my intellectual, emotional, and psychological development. I eagerly anticipate a fine companion, a confidant, and someone else to bother once Colton goes home every day." We're working hard on cadence, enunciation, and tone.

Dana's Home Study Interview
I met with Michelle today (July 7) for our homestudy interview. Nothing really that I didn't already discuss in my autobiography. Really, nothing to stress over. One more thing done!
